Hi my name is Elise, I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor. I presume that you are visiting this site because you are contemplating starting some personal counselling. I know that this can be quite daunting, but this is the first and very brave step. We all strive to be content, self-aware and to have peace. I offer the Person-Centred Approach, and have experience working with, bereavement, anxiety, loss or ending of relationships,trauma, amongst many other issues. It is essential to find the correct support and professional guidance and for you finding what works best for you, which is my aim.
I offer my clients the Person-Centred Approach, which is a popular approach. By my offering my clients the right conditions, I believe that each client can change and can grow in confidence and positively. I aim to have a deep understanding of every client, being accepting of them and their issues. Offering genuineness and non-judgement at all times.
You need to feel relaxed and at ease with your counsellor to enable you to feel safe enough to fully open up. I am a warm, friendly person and offer each of my clients empathy and understanding with no judgements. Together this allows us to create a safe and comfortable environment.
