I am a fully qualified experienced integrative counsellor with a psychology background and mental health experience, which enables me to draw on various therapeutic modalities in order to meet the individual needs of each client. I currently work for NHS and in private practice helping with a wide range of psychological issues including anxiety, depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress, bereavement, relationship issues etc. I combine the advantages of contemporary science with ancient traditional methods incorporating mindfulness, meditation, visualisation, TFT, grounding and relaxation techniques into my clinical practice.
I am holistic in my approach and work with a person as a whole rather than focusing just on a symptom. I take into consideration all aspects of the human being (emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and social) as difficulties can manifest themselves on different levels (e.g. physical symptoms are often a warning sign of an unresolved emotional issues etc.)
