Welcome to my profile, my name is Dr Edward Mundy and I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in the NHS and Academia. I have a small private practice in Canterbury offering expert psychological assessment and therapy for adults. I work with a range of psychological and psychiatric difficulties, including PTSD, complex trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am also experienced in supporting people to improve relationships, overcome trauma, improve self-esteem, navigate transitions, process loss and bereavement, and explore and develop their sense of identity.
Clinical Psychologists are trained to a doctoral level in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies. Being able to integrate different techniques means I can be flexible and tailor my therapy to your individual needs. I aim to help you understand yourself, what is maintaining your difficulties, and to improve your psychological and emotional health.
In the room, I am engaged, authentic, boundaried and collaborative, but I will seek to challenge you. Ultimately, therapy is about change which is achieved by being supported to face our emotional difficulties in a safe and tolerable way.
