I specialise in the psychotherapeutic support of the parents and carers of neurodiverse children / young people pre and post diagnosis, in particular the support of the parents of autistic girls. As well as having lived experience of autism parenting, I have written and researched extensively around the lived experiences of the parents of autistic girls. The support that I offer encompasses both parental mental wellbeing and offering advice and guidance, whether from first suspicions that your child might be autistic, through the journey to diagnosis, with life in-between and beyond.
I am a BACP accredited integrative psychotherapist, with over a decade of clinical experience in counselling and psychotherapy, and twenty years' experience in the field of autism. I have worked therapeutically in the NHS, state, voluntary and private sectors with young autistic people and their families.
