People come to therapy for a number of different reasons and it's important you feel you find the right therapist for you. Maybe you are fed up with constantly feeling tired, worried, under pressure or thinking no matter what you do, you still feel the same? Or maybe you recognise a behaviour or pattern that's holding you back in your career or personal life? Perhaps its affecting your relationships with the people you care most about? Maybe you feel disconnected from who you are? I get it. And I appreciate how overwhelming it can be to reach out for therapy and begin the process, so thank you for making that first step today.
I use various tools from a wide range of short term and long term therapy modalities to create a personalised toolbox with you to not only manage and eliminate the present symptoms, but also to understand the root causes within in order to heal. I aim to help you understand and heal wounds from the past that may still be impacting you today.
My name is Denise and I am registered therapist with the BACP. I provide a safe and empathic space to work at your pace through the issues affecting you. I believe you are the expert in your own life and I work in a client centered way. After all you know what feels helpful and not helpful for you. In our sessions together that's what's most important.
