As a registered practitioner psychologist with over 10 Years of experience in the national health service (NHS), I'm passionate about helping individuals create positive change in their lives. My approach integrates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and eye movement desensitisation therapy (EMDR) to provide you with the tools and support you need to achieve your goals. In addition to my work in the NHS as a principal psychologist and clinical supervisor, I hold a small private practice. The aim of which is to provide safe and effective therapy to those seeking support outside of the NHS.
While I have worked with many different individuals and issues, I offer therapy only in the areas where I hold specific expertise, including: difficulty adjusting to a health diagnosis, health related mood difficulties (e.g., depression, anxiety, panic, and post-traumatic stress disorder), fear of needles/medical investigations/surgery and medical trauma.
