Hi from me, Carrie, and a thanks for considering counselling with me. I can imagine how daunting it is to see all these profiles of people wanting to help! When you’re struggling with life, choosing someone and making contact can be a tough first step. Well done for getting this far! I’m a qualified counsellor and I’ve worked with all sorts of stuff- Anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, bereavement, relationship issues, low self-esteem, trauma and more. I’m here to listen to whatever you need to talk about, to find a new perspective or a way through whatever is troubling you. I’m a safe, non-judgemental person and I will hear you.
I have worked with clients from ages 11 to 60 on a range of issues. I offer counselling tailored to the individual and this can include creative work, CBT techniques and grounding work. I aim to build a strong, open, trusting relationship with all clients as that is the best tool for positive change. We work as a team!
I appreciate what a hard decision it can be to reach out for help. Whatever life is throwing at you, however difficult life feels, I am here to listen, support and provide a safe and non-judgemental environment. Feelings and life events can overwhelm us all at times and sometimes the hardest part can be to say that we need help. I’m here for you.
