Many people feel lost and bereft in an ever-changing and challenging world, and some of you may also be impacted by significant issues from childhood or later interpersonal relationships. This can lead to feelings of 'stuckness', hopelessness or depression, and that you cannot escape or be free from past experiences. For others, you may find that you have anxiety, relationship difficulties or general stress and burnout. Some people may have experienced significant losses and you may find yourself questioning what you want from life and what is really meaningful to you.
I have significant experience working with people with complex trauma and those who are struggling to work through the impact of difficult and painful relationships or losses. We co-create a safe space in which to honestly and meaningfully sift through past and current experiences, in order for you to reconnect to your values in a hopeful way.
As a Trainee Counselling Psychologist and Existential Psychotherapist, I am able to draw on recent research on the physiology of attachment, trauma and memory. I weave this into my work alongside philosophical ideas about meaning-making, belonging and connection in order to enable you to begin to make sense of your experiences and live you values more fully
