Considering and finding a counsellor can be an anxious time, this might be your first-time seeking help or you may be returning to counselling after a break, you may be unsure of what to look for or be unsure of what to expect from your counselling journey. As individuals we have the ability to find within us what we need to overcome and work through our problems, anxieties and stresses but for many reasons such as traumatic events, job pressures, personal or relationship issues, bereavement or loss, we lose this ability and our problems begin to overwhelm and infiltrate our lives leading us to seek help.
I am a trained, experienced integrative counsellor in simple terms, I look for the best approaches and techniques to suit you. I do not follow one particular counselling model instead I look to them all to find the best combination for you, ensuring at all times you are at the centre of your experience, working through your problems in your way.
My own journey to becoming an experienced counsellor has allowed me to support many people from all backgrounds, ages and with a range of issues. Supporting people to become the best versions of themselves, helping them overcome their problems in their way and watching them grow as individuals is a privilege and one that I look forward to sharing with you.
