Hi my name is Clare and before you read on, I first want to say that I hope you find the help you are seeking and that if you are suffering you find the right support to help ease your pain. Perhaps you are struggling to cope, feeling powerless, desperate or maybe you wish for personal change; I can support you in your journey. Specific issues that I can help with: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement, loss, relationship problems, improving communication, problem-solving, life or work stress, trauma, post-pandemic anxiety and general life dissatisfaction.
My approach is humanistic, a blend of gestalt, transactional analysis and person-centred. I believe in our own ability to grow, and that all aspects of ourselves matter if we are to achieve the change that we want. In addition I hold a degree in English and I have worked in business environments. I am happy to work creatively even within video sessions.
I offer a non-judgmental and empathic space. I will assist you in identifying your goals and I will listen to you deeply, walking alongside you with compassion.
