I am a Person Centred Therapist and supervisor. I practice near to the centre of Wigan. I aim to provide a warm, non-judgemental environment, where you will feel safe to explore any issues you may have. I work with an array of issues including anxiety, depression, low self esteem and relationship difficulties. I am able to offer a telephone consultation for up to 30 minutes to enable us to see if you feel you can work with me, or if counselling is the best option for you. If I feel that another therapy would be more beneficial, I will inform you of this.
I qualified in 2011 and have a BSc in person centred counselling and psychotherapy. I have specialised training to work with children and young people in addition to training knowledge and experience of working across all age groups. I have experience of working in NHS settings, schools and charities.
Entering therapy can be a difficult process. I am highly empathic and adapt my practice to your needs. I believe that you are the expert and will set the pace of therapy. This allows you to feel safe with the process.
