I believe we are all products of our upbringing and experiences. Sometimes, this can lead to struggling with anxiety, low self esteem, confusion and not feeling good in relationships. I can work with you to unravel what this is all about and help you find new ways of coping and moving forwards. We can talk or use creative methods to facilitate this discovery process. I work with young people, adults and couples for short or long term one to one sessions which are all driven by you and on your terms. I offer a free, initial meeting so you can decide if I am the right Counsellor for you. I also offer clinical supervision.
My experience of working with children and training in Trauma has given me an understanding of how we develop and learn ways to cope with difficult experiences. Often as adults these methods don't serve us well and can get in the way of new relationships and our sense of who we are in this world. We can look at this together to find new ways forwards.
Taking the first steps into Counselling can be daunting and scary so I offer a free, no obligation initial meeting so you can meet me and decide if I am the right person for you to share your story with. You can then decide how to proceed which can begin the process of feeling empowered to make changes for a better future for yourself and your relationships.
