My name is Cinzia and I am a fully trained Counsellor/Psychotherapist, accredited member of the BACP. I offer a warm, confidential, non-judgemental space for you to pause and reflect on whatever is troubling you at present. I have many years of experience working in private practice and in the NHS. I work with clients from many walks of life and I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental service in which clients can focus on establishing a renewed sense of trust.
The main therapeutic models I use in my practice are: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), focused on achieving specific results within a defined period of time, which is based on proven research evidence. I also use Mindfulness, Person Centred and the Psychodynamic approach.
I am interested in wellbeing and fitness and the intersection between physical and emotional balance. I have worked as a teacher for many years and I have experience working with clients with a wide variety of issues. I understand that it takes courage to reach out and make the first steps into counselling, it would be a pleasure for me to hear from you.
