Deciding to go to therapy, and finding the right therapist can be a daunting and difficult process. My aim is to make that as easy as possible for you and I offer a free, initial first session of 30 minutes for you to test the waters and figure out if I feel like the right therapist for you. You may be struggling with something specific that has interrupted your life, or perhaps there is something in your past that you are ready to understand now. Feeling emotionally overwhelmed can be a lonely place and often it will impact your relationships, work-life and wellbeing.
I’m an integrative therapist which means I draw from a toolbox of skills and modalities so that I can tailor my therapeutic approach to suit your unique needs. My grounding is in the philosophy of the person-centred approach; I trust in the direction that clients wish to explore. I call on psychodynamic and relational theories to inform how we work together.
I approach my practice with warmth, empathy, and compassion, creating a space where you can feel safe to open up about your concerns in a confidential and trusting environment. I will never pressure you to discuss anything you're not ready to address. Instead, I'll stand by your side, offering support as you navigate your way through the work.
