I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist who works with children and adults through various mental health difficulties, although my main speciality is trauma & EMDR. I also offer child psychological assessments including Cognitive, Autism & ADHD assessments. I am passionate about supporting people to rebuild their identity and develop coping skills after difficult experiences. I recognise that mental health is impacted by negative beliefs, adverse experiences and relationships with others. I believe in a trauma-informed, non-blaming approach, which supports change to identify goals and work toward change.
I can work with a range of difficulties including; trauma, anxiety, mild-moderate OCD, low self-esteem, low mood, challenging behaviour in adolescence & more. I can adapt approaches for autism. I draw on EMDR, cognitive behavioural, compassion-focused and dialectical behavioural therapies, in addition to attachment theory. I also offer parenting strategies.
