Hello, my name is Chris. I’m an experienced Integrative Counselling Psychotherapist (bit of a tongue twister) which essentially means that I will offer you a confidential, safe & non-judgemental space to explore whatever brings you to therapy. I will accept you for who you are, seeing the world through your eyes. I will really hear you, offering the time to find the answers you are looking for. I will not tell you what to do or who you should be but I will encourage you explore & navigate towards new insights & perspectives which can bring about a better way of relating to yourself and others. I work with individuals & couples.
No amount of words can ever describe each of us, everyone has different needs, so my way of working is flexible, geared towards what you need from therapy. We will have freedom & flexibility to work in a way that suits you as an individual, working at your pace, in a collaborative way, to identify, explore and work through whatever you bring to therapy.
I know how difficult it can be to take those first steps to seeking help or meeting a new therapist and, equally, how important it is to feel comfortable with the person you choose as your therapist. A good starting point is an initial session which is an opportunity to meet, talk, ask questions and decide if I’m right the right therapist for you.
