Hello, warm welcome. I am Charlie and I specialise in working with women who have lived through an abusive relationship and are ready to process and heal the trauma. I have lived experience of domestic abuse and understand that even many years later, the experiences can live on in the body and the mind, leading to anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relationship issues and various physical ailments. I understand that this can leave you feeling hopeless, but I am here to tell you there IS hope.
Through building a strong therapeutic alliance, we work together with trauma-informed approaches to help you process difficult past experiences. We focus on supporting your mind and body to feel safe, calm and grounded. Together we then focus forward - helping you build confidence, resilience and self-worth.
I promise you that I understand how hard it can be to talk about domestic violence, abuse and narcissistic relationships. Sometimes it's just too much to share with friends and family and there can be a huge sense of misplaced shame. I can provide a safe, non judgemental space for you to start exploring your feelings and processing what happened.
