My name is Michelle and I am a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist available to help you to understand and work through life's difficulties. CBT has a sound evidence base in treating problems such as low confidence, panic, stress, obsessional problems, phobias, PTSD, health anxieties and excessive worry. My aim is to help you to understand your problems better and to assist you to learn and practice using proven techniques which reduce distress so that you can lead a life with a greater sense of enjoyment and fulfilment.
I have over 10 years experience of delivering CBT to adults and more recently with young people. I also offer CBT incorporating Virtual Reality, where immersive software is used to allow gradual exposure to feared situations such as public speaking, social situations, driving and needles. My VR programmes also help build skills in mindfulness and relaxation.
Life is tough for us all at times and most of us will need help at some point.
