Life can be messy and it may feel overwhelming at times. I can offer you a confidential, safe place to talk about yourself and any problems, pain, or issues you may have in your life. Together we can explore what is going on for you and work towards where you want to be. This can be a place to process what has happened and how you relate and interact with those around you. We will focus on you and your needs throughout the therapeutic process.
As an Integrative Therapist, I will be drawing on various approaches including psychodynamic, transactional analysis, creative tools and CBT methods. Alongside my private practice I work as a counsellor in a secondary school and for a young persons' agency. I have recently completed a post graduate diploma in Trauma Informed Therapy. (Level 6)
Finding the right counsellor may take time because it is essential that you feel comfortable and understood. Our first session will be an opportunity to find out what you hope to get from counselling and for me to assess if I am the right fit for you and your particular needs.
