I am a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Psychologist of 17 years. I provide psychological assessment and therapy to young people and adults with a wide range of presenting issues, such as anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship issues and eating related issues. I have a wide range of experience and skills to draw from, with specialist knowledge and skills in assessment (including cognitive assessment), cognitive behavioural approaches, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing and cognitive analytical mapping. I am fully DBS checked.
As a Clinical Psychologist I am highly trained in assessment and psychological formulation. These skills enable me to develop a good understanding of a client's presenting challenges before therapy begins. I am then able to select from a range of therapeutic approaches to best fit a client's wishes and needs.
