As a counsellor, I help those struggling with mental health concerns, relationship issues, grief, loss, burnout or low self-esteem. I am here to support you in finding a way through, aiming to create greater balance and harmony. I am a registered BACP counsellor with 20 years experience working 1:1 with people in mental health both as a parent coach and in education teaching yoga, mindfulness and emotional & social learning. Training in embodiment and trauma healing modalities has given me insight and a strong belief in the importance of integrating this alongside my person-centred counselling to work with the mind-body connection.
New research strongly suggests that we must consider the body-mind connection. As a Parent Coach, I support you in facing challenges or difficult behaviours. I teach YOU skills to aid your child with issues such as fears, anxiety and anger and time to explore the ways you might lead your family allowing for a stronger bond with your children into adulthood.
I view each person as an individual and from a holistic viewpoint to help empower people to break out of limiting ideas and connect to their deepest selves for profound change.
