I am a fully qualified Child & Adolescent counsellor. My approach is child-centred and integrative; I draw on a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet the needs of each individual. Establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the core of my work, this enables a child and young person to express themselves and meet them where they're at. We would meet for regular weekly sessions in my practice, which is specifically designed & equipped for working with children.
I offer talking, play, and sand tray therapy as well as the use of resources such creative materials, therapeutic resources and games for children and young people to express themselves and find better ways of managing difficulties and be curious about their overall mental health and wellbeing.
Whilst respecting the confidential nature of the therapeutic relationship I also offer parents suggested resources or signposting them to help support the work outside of the counselling space.
