I am a BACP accredited psychotherapist. I provide therapy for adults, teenagers and children. When working with younger children the alliance made between myself and parents/carers is an important part of the process ; enabling improved relationships and greater understanding. I provide my clients with an empathic and non judgemental space in which they can discuss their life challenges; from ongoing personal struggles to sudden situations of crisis. Counselling also creates a time for you to get to know yourself better, to reflect upon personal experiences and to find the answers and solutions that are right for you.
My approach is person centred whilst drawing upon a range of theoretical methods. In this way I am able to tailor therapy to meet each individuals unique need. I often invite my clients to use creative materials/techniques to aid them in exploring feelings and ideas. This way of working is particularly helpful with young people who may find talking difficult
