Are you tired of pretending you’re OK? Are you your own harshest critic? So used to putting others first that it’s hard to hold on to your own self-worth? Or you may be finding that getting out of bed is a struggle, you don't want to go to work or show up in your life. Add in experiences of sexism, micro-aggressions, abuse, and ageism, and your confidence can be knocked. It’s not much fun feeling anxious, depressed or stressed all the time. Comparing yourself to others and not feeling good enough can affect your mood and your relationships with yourself and with others. These are all things that therapy can help you work through.
I have a special interest in helping women with anxiety, imposter syndrome, and low self-esteem. We will work together to help you grow around past hurts and difficulties, to find a way to say ‘yes’ to what you want in life and to feel more comfortable saying 'no' when needed. I have particular experience of working with domestic and sexual abuse.
People tell me I'm very easy to talk to and to trust with their most difficult feelings. If you are interested in therapy with me, please get in touch via email or text to book an initial 15 -min phone consultation during which you can give me brief details of your situation and ask any questions you may have. I work online and face to face.
