Hello and welcome. I have been here myself so I understand how daunting it can feel to find the right therapist and take that first step towards healing. I am here to be alongside you as you start on this path. Building our relationship so that you feel safe to openly share whatever brings you to therapy. Working together we can explore whatever difficulty you are going through, a past trauma or experience does not have to be revisited to heal, we will explore your experiences in the here and now, look to understand how it has impacted you and in what ways, for example do you have low self worth or do you struggle in relationships.

I will listen but I will hear more than the words I will pay attention to your tone, your body language and facial expression, part of my toolbox in helping you make sense of your thoughts, feelings and behaviour. I will be honest and sometimes I will challenge however, I will do this with empathy and sensitivity and always with no judgement.

Going through therapy myself I know how empowering it is to understand self and understand how experiences have shaped us or to to feel missing pieces of a puzzle fit together. It is about becoming authentically you.

I have a certificate in Walk and Talk therapy, as well as feeling the benefits of being out in nature and exercise, walking while talking can take out the anxiety you might be feeling about coming to counselling. It may feel less overwhelming walking side by side with the distraction of nature.
