I am a fully insured, fully qualified, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I have 10 years of experience working in various mental health roles within a local mental health charity, including as a Mental Health Practitioner, Counsellor, and Senior Manager. I have worked with adults and young people aged 13 plus, who are experiencing mental ill health or reduced mental wellbeing. I have experience working with a range of mental health symptoms and presenting issues. I am a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).
I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which is the recommended treatment for many mental health conditions. CBT aims to give you space to talk and understand your current problems on a deeper level, but also offers tools and techniques to help you manage better and move forward feeling better able to cope.
I offer a free introductory session, which can either be on the telephone, online via zoom or in person. This session will give you the chance to talk about what has brought you to therapy and see whether I am the right counsellor for you. Please get in touch to find out more.
