I am a thoughtful practitioner with over 30 years of experience. I help adults experiencing emotional distress and mental health difficulties. This might include issues with low mood, anxiety and obsessional thinking, trauma, concerns about self image, identity and relationships. I am integrative and use CBT, narrative and psychodynamic approaches. I am also a qualified in dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT). I adapt my therapeutic approach to your circumstances and am trained and experienced in working with psychological complexity and at depth if this is what you want and need.
As well as offering psychotherapy, I have held senior positions within the NHS and I am a qualified executive coach. I coach individuals from a range of corporate and public service settings. I also trained as an organisational consultant at the Tavistock & Portman, which helps me understand work related difficulties as well as more personal ones.
Together we will create a strong and safe therapeutic space to work within. I work with a practice called the Integrated Psychology Clinic - a small group of professional, experienced, ethical and compassionate Clinical Psychologists. Whilst under my care, the administrative needs will be cared for by IPC which frees us up to focus only on the therapy.
