There are many reasons people come to counselling. Life can feel overwhelming and we sometimes feel that we are not coping as well as we might. I am in my final year of training at Scarborough Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institute. I work creatively to provide a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can understand who you are. My approach is based on building a strong therapeutic relationship and providing you with the emotional support you need.
I have over 15 years experience working in and around maternity services in England. I am an NMC registered midwife with expertise in grief and loss. I have experience supporting people with addiction, anxiety, depression, stress, abuse, trauma and adversity.
