Hi, my name is Bethany Clews. I am a qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor with a First-Class BA (Hons) Integrative Relational Counselling Degree. I am experienced in working with clients on a wide range of topics, including anxiety, ADHD, depression, family issues, disability, emotional regulation, low self-esteem, loss, neurodiversity, relationship problems, trauma and other psychological difficulties. In addition to my private practice, I have three years of experience as an in-house Psychotherapist in a busy NHS GP practice.
My therapy style is warm and as an Integrative Therapist, I recognise that one approach does not fit all. I draw from various therapeutic theories, such as Person-Centred, Polyvagal, Somatic, Psychodynamic, Gestalt and CBT. I am guided by your needs and collaborate with you to discover how the space can best support you by providing a personalised model.
You may feel apprehensive about taking the first step into counselling. My goal is to provide you with a safe, welcoming space where you can explore your feelings. When we first meet, I will listen to your story without judgment. We will explore at a pace that is comfortable for you, and therapy will become a space where you can feel seen and heard.
