My name is Beth and I am an integrative, humanistic counsellor. I work with all backgrounds and use a relational approach to uncover hidden thoughts, feelings and behaviours that might be affecting parts of your life. The work is tailored to you and your needs and I will help you explore your difficult thoughts and feelings in a safe and trusting environment. Talking about your feelings can be hard and can often feel overwhelming. If your self confidence is low and you're feeling depressed, anxious, angry or sad, it can begin to affect every single part of your life and you may start to feel trapped and like there is no way out.
You may feel like you don't know where to begin, or how to explain why you feel the way you do and that's ok, our problems are complex and I'm here to help along the way. I work with a wide range of mental health difficulties and am experienced in substance misuse and addiction. I believe in challenging people to help reveal their true selves.
It's important to me that you feel comfortable working with me and that I have the right skills to help you. I offer a free 15 minute session where we can look at your needs and decide if we are a good fit for one another. I will listen to you with great care and empathy and commit to being open and honest with you.
