I am a warm, passionate, and trauma-informed Counsellor/Psychotherapist who offers a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to explore behavious, thoughts, feelings to gain insight into how your past may have impacted the present. I work integratively, so I draw on humanistic philosophies and practices, but also include some psychoeducation, CBT, parts work and mindfulness techniques. Whatever works best for you and your circumstances, together we can decide on a plan and periodically discuss progress, needs and goals as they develop.
I have a wealth of experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, stress management, neurodiversity, relationship issues, self-esteem, life transitions, and personal development. Academically, I have qualitatively researched the impact of Type 1 Diabetes on parents and am currently researching Rejection Sensitivity in adult females with ADHD.
