Whatever your concerns might be, I offer you a safe space to express yourself, without fear of being judged. My practice reflects my belief that you are the expert in your own life. By talking together we can explore what is troubling you and find ways to address, come to terms with, or perhaps even resolve your difficulties. My sessions are non-directive which means you decide what happens during sessions; together we will explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you.
For the last 20 years, I have worked as a counsellor at Lancaster University, with students and staff of all ages and backgrounds. My time in this setting has given me a rich understanding of transitions; relationships; identity; bereavement and loss. My clients have struggled with depression; anxiety; disordered eating; self harm and suicidal thoughts.

During the call I will ask you what has brought you to counselling; what you would like to get out of sessions and what has helped you in the past. Should we decide to work together we will book our first session. I offer open-ended counselling which means you can stop at any time.
