I specialise in CBT, DBT and trauma informed care to treat a wide range of mental health concerns. We look at how unhelpful thought patterns impact your emotions and behaviours. We work collaboratively to build your confidence and resilience to help you to overcome emotional distress to improve your functioning by building functional, practical behaviours.
I believe the key to successful therapy is to build a strong, trusting relationship together and to have a safe space to open up. I therefore understand taking the first step is often the hardest and I will guide you from the beginning with reassurance and comfort. I work with both children and adults and can therefore tailor my approach to suit your needs.
