If you are looking for a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who specialises in women's therapy, I have had many years of experience offering psychotherapy to women of all ages and with all emotional difficulties. I have written on body image and provided organisations with presentations on eating disorders: Eating disorders: how to understand, how to help. For over 30 years I have worked with these problems, emotional trauma and personality disorder. I can also help you with a process that can enable you to move forward with life transitions and how you may be able to negotiate change.
I offer a feminist perspective together with the psychoanalytic method of working. Via the therapeutic relationship a very particular space is offered where the less conscious aspects of experience can be gradually revealed. I have researched the meaning the body has for women and the causes which lead to a reversal of personal development.
I work with you on self-identity issues, eating problems, depression and anxiety with a high degree of empathy, and listening to your individual experience.
