My name is Katharina. In my work I am passionate about supporting adults and young people who are finding aspects of life troublesome and difficult. You may be experiencing times of anxiety, bereavement or low self esteem or you might be experiencing a range of difficulties (connected to work, family, relationships, sexual orientation) that you would like to talk about and wish to ‘untangle’ with some help. I offer short and longer-term work, which we would agree on in the initial and free 30 min consultation. This consultation and subsequent sessions can be online or over the phone, or face to face once regulations allow. .
In our work we can for instance focus on the ‘Here and Now’, looking at current issues and possible solutions, or work on a deeper level, exploring possible causes and patterns, and how to make sense of past experiences. This will not only help you understand, but give you an opportunity to discover new choices, and from there new routes to take.
Counselling gives you a space to bring what matters to you, and we can then explore these at your own pace. It is an empowering process, and I have seen how clients have been able to use these newly gained choices to live their lives more fully and embracingly.
