Hi I'm Angela. Coming to counselling can feel like such a big step. There may be an obvious reason as to why you're feeling low, such as bereavement or a traumatic event. Equally you could be feeling sad and you don't really understand why. Perhaps you're struggling with anxiety or depression, or you're having panic attacks? Many people are struggling with their mental health for the first time due to COVID 19. Whatever you're going through I'd like to help you feel better. I'm trained in both Person Centred Counselling and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). You can choose to work with either model or a combination of the two.
With Person Centred I'll help you to tune into what feels right for you, so you can understand yourself better and work out what you'd like to change. IFS therapy believes there's many different aspects to your personality. In understanding all these parts of yourself you'll gain self acceptance and healing. You'll also learn to access your own self energy.
