Hello, I am Andy Lincoln and I have many years experience in helping a wide range of people to work though their personal dilemmas and difficulties. I help my clients through building trusting relationships. Many people find that a confidential space to talk through difficult issues helps them make sense of the past and to disentangle it from the present. I can help with depression, anxiety, early trauma, relationship difficulties, anger management and other personal issues as well as helping to change problematic behavior's and help build self-awareness and personal understanding.
Although I am trained in Psychodynamic therapy I work through my therapeutic relationship with clients, seeing counselling as working together towards realizing their hopes and goals. I offer online sessions at various times and I am also based at a Counselling Practice in Leicester one afternoon a week and two evenings for face to face sessions.
I have a broad life experience and have overcome many issues in my life and this has helped me to empathize with other people. I feel that listening is the key helping my clients find a way forward in their lives. I have a great belief in our ability to change, grow and to move on from problems that can seem impossible to change on our own.
