I’m a HCPC-registered Chartered Counselling Psychologist & EMDR therapist providing talking therapy for adults. I specialise in helping people who have had traumatic experiences, but I can also help with a range of problems including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and perinatal mental health. I provide a safe, confidential space and help you to make sense of your experiences and find workable, sustainable ways to move forward. My aim is to help you create meaningful change in your life. Each person has their own story so my approach is tailored to you, rather than attempting a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
I naturally adopt a relational, compassionate approach, integrating the ideas of evidence-based therapies Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing, as well as drawing upon 18 years of training and experience in the NHS and private sector, and parenting.
I'm also human just like you, and I’ve sat both sides of the couch. Taking the steps to access therapy can be scary, or exciting, or both.
