I work with young people and adults and I offer a non-judgemental and friendly space in which to get to know you. If you experience stress, anxiety or depression or finding life difficult, through collaboration we can explore what has led to this point in your life. We can identify what you would like to achieve during our time together, what is important to you and what you would like to be different by the time counselling has ended? I offer creative approaches for those that may fine it hard to express themselves and using an integrative approach can tailor therapy to suit your needs.
As a pluralistic counsellor I want to understand your world, your preferences in and outside the counselling room. This helps to adapt sessions to suit your needs and integrate therapies that will help you to move forward and have a more positive approach in life. I particularly like integrating guided imagery, relaxation and grounding techniques in therapy.
Tailoring the therapy room to suit your needs is key in helping you to feel safe and secure in sessions. It is important to know that this counselling space is accessible for those that require wheelchair access or have mobility issues.
