I can offer an honest and warm environment for you to feel safe to explore and understand any difficulties you're experiencing. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, you may have a particular problem that is concerning you, a traumatic experience, sometimes our loved ones are too close to hear how we really feel.
I am a very good listener, I have mainly worked in an hospice setting, working with those who have been touched by terminal illnesses, this could be the patient themselves, family members or carers. Also with school aged children who suffer with anxiety and other comorbidities, mostly Autism.. I offer an empathetic space, a warm and friendly disposition.
Being a Person-Centred Counsellor I take an holistic approach; Our minds will usually default to the negative- which is extremely unhelpful and can stop us in our tracks at any moment. Together we can work towards eradicating these negative thoughts to be able to enjoy everyday life. Even if you feel you are unable to verbalise, we will find a way!
