I am a Specialist Chartered Psychologist, a member of the British Psychological Society and registered with HCPC. I've worked in the NHS for over 20 years in the area of Mental Health. I use an integrative approach drawing from a number of therapeutic approaches to help meet each clients individual needs. I provide a safe, healing and confidential space to help clients connect with their feelings and explore and gain an understanding of their difficulties. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of Clinical Presentations including, trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, self-esteem and relationship difficulties.
Apart from my professional qualification as a Psychologist, I also have Specialist training in a number of therapeutic models and approaches. These include Compassionate Inquiry a year long training with Dr Gabor Mate, Compassion Focused therapy, EMDR Part 1, 2 & 3. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and I am also a Mindfulness Teacher.
It is through providing a compassionate, non judgemental and empathic space that enables the client to feel safe and make positive changes in their lives. I am passionate and committed to helping clients and it is always a privilege to be part of their journey towards healing.
