I work with individuals who are experiencing a sense of being stuck in their life. They may be facing painful emotions, negative thought patterns, or behaviours that are causing difficulties in their lives. They may want to make sense of their difficulties by exploring them in the context of their whole life, thinking back to their early experiences, and how that has shaped the person they have become. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, relational difficulties, spiritual and religious trauma and more.
My therapy room
I offer warmth, empathy and safety to allow the client to work through their difficulties. My approach as an integrative psychotherapist means I support the client to understand their difficulties within the context of their whole life. I see the relationship between client and therapist as central to the work.
Having experienced therapy myself as a client, I know how daunting the process of seeking therapy and finding the right therapist for you can be. I would be happy to speak with you regarding any questions you might have to support you in the process of pursuing therapy.
