Judith M. Ford, MSW, is the author of Fever of Unknown Origin: A True Tale of Medicine, Mystery, and Magic. Her short work has appeared in more than 30 publications including the Connecticut Review and the Evening Street Review. Her work has been nominated multiple times for the Pushcart prize. She was a psychotherapist for 35 years and also taught creative writing at the University of Wisconsin. She holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

She researches psychological, spiritual, and physical brushes with death and loss. This blog is an exploration of the bruises, the lessons, and the footprints these experiences leave behind. Not a how-to, more a sharing.
