I employ Gestalt Psychotherapy, Mindfulness (MBSR), Yoga Nidra and Art Therapy tools to bring awareness and activate the process of healing and the path to a fuller life. Trauma Sensitive practices are an essential ingredient to my work, especially due to my interest in the connection between trauma, chronic pain, and ADHD. This happens by using both “wings”: 'being with' and 'working with'. As a native English speaker, who has relocated to Denmark 8 years ago, I am passionate about cultivating resilience and empowering expatriates through transitions in their personal or professional life.
Each session may be different as I use an integrative approach tailored to the individual and the moment. Awareness to the now, mindfulness exercises, curiosity about what is happening to the body through thoughts and emotions, creative experiments and psychoeducation, due to my interest in neuroscience. Self compassion is at the core of my practice.
