The approach I take with my patients varies from one patient to another. Like a "modiste" I "tailor" my sessions, creating a personalised therapeutic plan for each patient. I only work with evidence based therapies that I have been trained in: Behavioural therapy, Cognitive- Behavioural therapy, Family therapy and Humanist therapy. My primary tool is psycho education. I believe in educating the population with evidence based practices while maintaining a close, personal, confidential and safe-space relationship. Some of the most useful tools I use include: semi-structured interviews and functional analysis.
I enjoy working with both children and parents, but also like working with teens and/or adults. I have experience working with children and pre-teens as well as adults, and I have treated among other things, ADHD, Asperger´s Syndrome and behavioural issues in children. I also have experience working in palliative medicine, oncology and bereavement.
