No two individuals with eating disorders are exactly alike. At The Balanced Practice, we use an individualized approach to meet you where you are. Whether you have a diagnosed eating disorder or have been struggling with disordered eating and body image with no clinical diagnosis, we are here to support you and work with you on a treatment plan to meet your specific needs. We focus on being client-centred, which means that we prioritize your personal well-being and all treatment decisions are made in partnership with you to help you reach your goals. We want you to feel empowered in the process of your recovery.
We are a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals who specialize in supporting clients with eating disorders and disordered eating. We support clients through our intensive virtual eating disorder program (including 1:1 sessions, weekly group therapy, meal support, and family support) as well as individual dietitian and therapy services.
Taking the first step to reach out for help is never easy. Our goal is to help clients feel safe and supported from the very beginning of their healing journey.
