I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). I am a Certified EMDR Therapist & EMDR Consultant (EMDRIA approved). I help people heal from traumatic experiences and the effects that these painful events have - anxiety, depression, nightmares, stress, emotional exhaustion, being stuck. EMDR gives people relief from symptoms that they can't get from talk therapies.
EMDR emulates the body’s natural healing process of rapid eye movement, which we engage in when we sleep. The eye movements are used, with a specific protocol, to remove the emotional charge from painful experiences & replace them with more positive belief systems. It is a well-researched, empirically supported therapy endorsed by the WHO.
