People seek counselling for a variety of reasons and I value each and every client for their unique experiences. Change can be scary but sometimes is needed. This change can come for a variety of reasons such as sadness, pain, loss, hope, love, and determination. I admire the strength, skills, and abilities clients develop over time throughout their therapeutic process. I have worked with clients with grief and loss, addiction, depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, building confidence, sport psychology, caregiver burnout/compassion-fatigue, sex therapy, and intimacy work. I am LGBTQIA2S+ as well as kink positive.
I work with clients to develop more self-awareness of their concerns and how they can support their individual growth. This means that we work on a person-centered approach to build self-confidence both physically and emotionally as needed. I use modalities from CBT, DBT, solution-focused, ACT and body positivity to facilitate this mindset.
You are welcome to meet with me for a consultation to have a more in-depth look at how counselling with me would look. This can give us the opportunity to develop a plan of how to best meet your goals and provide the support you are looking for. This is a great opportunity to try something new and see the success you can have.
