I'm Veroniek, and my pronouns are she/her. I have been working in social services for 25 years and have been a marriage and family therapist since 2005. I have instructed at a graduate level and am a certified clinical supervisor. I specialize in trauma recovery, using modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Polyvagal Theory, and am guided by Attachment Theory and Feminist Theory. I welcome clients from the queer community, support non-traditional relationships and strive to create a safe space for people from all walks of life.

I offer a client-centered approach that focuses on identifying what you want to see change, and together we co-create a plan on how you can get there.
It's important to "shop around" for a good fit, so I offer a free 15-minute phone/virtual "meet and greet" so you can get a sense of me and how I work. If we are not a good match, I am happy to offer names of other trusted colleagues who may be a better one. Therapy is a big investment in yourself, so a good fit is essential!
