My primary aim as a therapist is to create a warm, confidential space where my clients feel deeply heard and understood. I strive to support individuals to cultivate self-compassion, connect with their emotions, express their needs and live authentically. I specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and those coping with significant life or health related changes. My training includes a meaningful two-year psychotherapy internship at Mount Sinai Hospital, combined with over a decade of experience in outpatient mental health services.
I am a compassionate and curious therapist, who encourages self-exploration, using a strength-based and trauma-informed approach. The approaches I use - person-centered therapy, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion - are chosen with the intention of serving each person's unique needs and therapeutic goals.
I believe that successful outcomes for my clients are deeply rooted in a strong therapeutic alliance. I welcome you to reach out if are feeling stuck, navigating a stressful time, or seeking to explore emotions and past experiences in a safe, non-judgmental space. If you are an Ontario resident and feel that I could be a good fit, please reach out.
